Mrs. Dorothy L. “Dottie” Wilson, age 88 and a resident of Fancy Farm, passed away at 8:55 A.M. Thursday, March 4, 2026 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. She was born on Tuesday, January 4, 1938 in Jackson, TN. She was a member of Saint Jerome Catholic Church and a retired employee of the former Brown Shoe Company. She is survived by three daughters; Annette Ewell, Paducah, Katherine Cannon, Nashville, TN., Deanna (Patrick) Thomas, Fancy Farm, one son; Michael (Donna) Cannon, Jackson, TN., three step sons; James L. (Kelley) Wilson, Murfreesboro, TN., John F. Wilson, Dublin and Patrick G. Wilson, Fancy Farm. A step daughter; Jeannie M. (Brad) McAlpin, Draffenville, KY., Her grandchildren; Crystal (Steve) Daniels, Milan, TN., Paige Garduno, Fancy Farm, Brent Davis, Paducah, Korbin Cannon, Nashville, TN., Greyson Garduno, Fancy Farm and Jessica Janda, Mayfield, her great grandchildren; Sophie Daniels, Janna Davis, Kaylee Janda and Jacob Janda. Numerous step grandchildren and step greatgrandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Allen Reece and Ruby Louise Cannon Crawford, her first husband; Bobby Joe Cannon, her second husband; James J. Wilson, one son; Gary Lynn Cannon, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Saint Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm with Father Darrell Venters officiating. Entombment will follow in the Saint Jerome Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be; Korbin Cannon, Greyson Garduno, Patrick Thomas, Mike Cannon. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 9, 2026 at the Saint Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements..
